Device Manufacturing & Risk Disclosure

Welcome to PillBuddie Healthy Tech. By purchasing or using the Pill Buddie device (“Product”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your order.

1. General Use

By purchasing or using the Pill Buddie, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring the device is used correctly and safely. You agree not to rely on the Product as your sole method of pill management. This includes awareness of risks related to its 3D-printed construction, as described below.

2. Not a Medical Device

Pill Buddie is not a medical device.
It is a consumer‑grade reminder tool and vending tool designed to assist with daily routines. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is not intended to replace professional medical advice, or healthcare supervision.

You are responsible for regularly checking that pills have been dispensed correctly and for maintaining a backup method of pill management.

The Pill Buddie device is manufactured using 3D-printing technology. While each unit is tested before shipment, 3D-printed components may behave differently from injection-molded consumer electronics, and you acknowledge and accept this as part of the Product’s design.

Mechanical issues can occur, including but not limited to pills becoming stuck, jammed, or failing to dispense as expected.

Consumer Convenience Tool Only: The PillBuddie is designed strictly as a mechanical and visual organization aid to assist individuals with personal routine management. It is not a medical device, therapeutic instrument, or healthcare service, and it should never be relied upon as a primary safety or health system.

No Medical Claims or Liability: PillBuddie Healthy Tech does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or health management services. The user or their designated caregiver retains full responsibility for ensuring that all items placed inside the device are correct, properly organized, and managed according to their own personal requirements.

Assumption of Risk: PillBuddie Healthy Tech assumes no liability for missed doses, double doses, incorrect loading, visual display misunderstandings, power outages, connectivity disruptions, or mechanical tampering.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding your pill schedule or any health‑related questions.

3. Warranty Limitations

PillBuddie Healthy Tech provides a limited 90‑day warranty covering manufacturing defects only.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper handling
  • Water damage or exposure to extreme environments
  • Modifications or unauthorized repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by incorrect charging equipment

If a defect is discovered within the warranty period, please contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue. PillBuddie Healthy Tech reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the Product at its discretion.

4. Not Responsible for Misuse

You agree that PillBuddie Healthy Tech is not responsible for:

  • Missed/incorrect dispensing
  • Incorrect dispensing timing
  • User‑entered errors
  • Failure to maintain the device
  • Any harm resulting from reliance on the Product

The user is solely responsible for ensuring pills are taken correctly and on time.

5. Use at Your Own Risk

By using the Product, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You assume all risks associated with its use
  • PillBuddie Healthy Tech is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or misuse of the Product
  • The Product is provided “as is” except where covered by the limited warranty

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Product.

6. Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is as follows:

  • Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery
  • The Product must be in like‑new condition with all accessories included
  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected

7. Shipping Policy

Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days.

Shipping details:

  • Delivery times vary by location
  • Tracking information will be provided when available
  • PillBuddie Healthy Tech is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other factors outside our control
  • Lost or damaged packages must be reported within 7 days of the expected delivery date

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, additional shipping fees may apply.

Your privacy is important to us. We collect only the information necessary to process your order and provide customer support.
